Under that, the foundation of Ring Dam, a joint project of Bihar and UP, was laid. In this, not only the area of ​​Bihar but also the villages of UP were included. Due to the efforts of the MP, a project worth Rs 125 crore was made to save JP’s village in both UP and Bihar. Under this, the construction work of ring dam was completed with a total budget of Rs 85 crore on the banks of Ghaghra in a total distance of four kilometers in the border of Bihar. At the same time, about two hundred meters of work in Uttar Pradesh’s part is pending due to the court case. But now MP Rudy has once again intensified his efforts to complete this dam.

In this connection, former Union Minister cum BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy told the Chief Secretary that due to non-completion of the work of Ring Dam in the UP part, Sitab Diara has been submerged due to floods. Flood water has reached JP Trust of Sitab Diara. Due to non-completion of Ring Dam from Uttar Pradesh side, water has also entered Rameshwar Tola of Sitab Diara. Crops have been ruined due to water entering the fields of Rameshwar Tola of Sitab Diara. Water has reached the road leading to JP Trust. The state government is also a party in the court case. Therefore, while assuring the MP on behalf of the state government, the Chief Secretary said that this problem will be resolved soon.

Actually, the work of Ring Dam in UP border was to be completed in two parts, in which a total of Rs 40 crore was to be spent. But the work is at a standstill due to the local land donor going to court about two hundred meters near Athgaon village of Ballia.
